Hurricanes, Baptisms & Blessings The (below) pic was our radar view of hurricane Idalia last week. The eye actually came
within 75 miles of our mobile home in Florida. We experienced the loss of power for six days as well as three trees and many branches but Praise the Lord we had no structural damage. Others were not quit as fortunate with hurricane force winds and a six foot tidal serge along the Big Bend region. Pray for those who are digging out, the linemen restoring power and thank you for the many phone calls and prayers. There are great spiritual lessons in the storms of life if we look for them. Romans 8:28...And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. Summer Baptisms; As you can see from the (below) pics, we continue to baptize many new converts through the Florida Plant. God continues to give the increase as VBS this year brought more youth to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Ages (9-22) We do our best to confirm the sould saved as the early church did and to disciple them through the Word of God to help build them up. Acts 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the Kingdom of God!

Granddaughters Saved & Baptized
Two of those saved and
Baptized this summer were our granddaughters Kelbee and Kynnedi. (Below)
We praise the Lord for the opportunity to lead hundreds to Christ but it
does a grandparents heart good to see their grandchildren come to faith
in Christ. Even the Apostle Paul would note the great influence young
Timothy's Grandmother Lois would have in the young preachers life. 2Ti
1:5 When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee,
which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I
am persuaded that in thee also.

Summer Offerings
Summer can be a challenging time financially for Churches
and Missions however we have been blessed to maintain a consistent
support base this summer. In addition to our regular ministry partners
support, we have been privileged to be the recipient of several Vacation
Bible School offerings from Churches in California, Arkansas and
Oklahoma. Having participated in VBS offerings over the years we know the
preciousness of children collecting pennies, nickels and quarters to give
to missions. We recently received another special offering from a youth Sunday
School class from Landmark Baptist Church in Madison Florida. (BELOW)
Pray for their area of North Florida as they were hit very
hard by the hurricane.

Florida State
Meeting & Deputation
During the month of August I had the privilege to preach the
Annual Mission message at the Florida State assembly in Winter Haven. It
was an honor to stand before faithful Churches of like faith and order to
preach Gods word. But between Me and You, I am more comfortable sharing
the gospel in the one hundred degree heat of the Kerio Valley with sand
and dust blowing in our Bibles and faces or on a rickety old red wood
stained porch in a Florida trailer park than I am preaching to a large
crowd. Nevertheless, God blessed. We also attended meetings with the
Churches who support Florida Mission Development who are partnering with
us at the Florida Plant Then there is the constant process of continuing
deputation in order to garner new support and maintain support for a
ministry with influence in four countries now. It is a never ending
endeaver which requires much effort and energy but the one whom we serve
is worthy and we know our efforts are not in vain. To God be the Glory!
Matt 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy
Ghost:
Matt 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things
whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto
the end of the world. Amen.
